Ts. Dr. Krishnan Subramaniam and Ts. Dr. Ahmad Anwar Zainuddin were awarded Best Paper Awards at the International Symposium on Engineering and Technology in October 2021. (ISETECH 2021). They are represented by the research group Advance Computer Engineering and Technology. This group at Manipal International University is primarily involved with the research and development of high-performance artificial intelligence (AI) systems, which is narrowed down to novel software engineering components, tools, and technologies in the field of engineering and computers.

This ISETECH symposium intends to bring together professionals, researchers, academicians, and industry to discuss cutting-edge electrical and computer applications. ACE Centre of Excellence, Faculty of Electronic Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis organised this seminar (UNIMAP).

Ts. Dr. Krishnan Subramaniam from the department of Mechanical Engineering delivered a paper titled Investigation of Force Analysis Stewart Platform Actuated by Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) at this symposium. He was born in 1975 in the Malaysian state of Perak and had his education in the city of Ipoh, also in Perak. He had a post-graduate in MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), MEng in Mechanical Engineering from and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP).
